Richey breaks through with first feature win WHITE CITY � Jeremy Richey hit paydirt in the spotlight on Saturday night at the Southern Oregon Speedway. A winner of eight heats in pro stocks during the first half of the season, Richey drove to victory in the feature. The win was his first feature victory of the season. While Richey took the checkered flag in the feature for the first time, the other three feature winners had all been there before. Mark Wauge won for the third time in winged modifieds, besting runner-up Dave Duste Jr. and third-place finisher Dave Duste Sr. Jim Hill continued his winning ways in mini stocks, posting a feature win for an amazing eighth time in 2000. No other driver has won more than one feature in the class this season. Points leader Tracy Bradley was second in the feature. Harvey Foster continued his impressive work in super trucks, running to his third feature win of the season. Racing continues tonight at Southern Oregon Speedway as the Northern Sprint Tour makes its second and final appearance of the season. Also on the card are the mini stocks, super trucks and dwarf cars. Gates open at 4 p.m. with the first race at 6. There are no races on Saturday, July 22. Racing will continue on July 29.
