Medford police Thursday arrested Garcia on a charge of hindering prosecution. She was booked into the Jackson County Jail and released on her own recognizance. She was booked into jail and released on her own recognizance. Drugs — Joshua Wayne Rosecrans, 24, of the 5300 block of Table Rock Road, Central Point. Central Point police Thursday arrested Rosecrans on charges of attempting to elude in a vehicle, reckless driving, resisting arrest, two counts of menacing, two counts of assaulting a police officer and possession of methamphetamine. He was lodged in jail, where he remained late Thursday on $34,000 bail. Vehicle theft — Matthew David Smith, 20, of Brookings. Medford police Thursday arrested Smith on a charge of unlawful use of a motor vehicle. He was lodged in jail, where he remained late Thursday on $5,000 bail. Burglary, theft, robbery — James Edward May, 22, of the 1100 block of Niantic Street, Medford. Medford police Thursday arrested May on charges of first-degree burglary, first-degree theft, second-degree robbery and resisting arrest. He was lodged in jail, where he remained late Thursday on more than $1 million bail.
