Emergency services, Oct. 16 Sunday Oct 16, 2016 at 12:05 AM Felony arrests Drugs — Marquis Devon Akins, 29, of Stockton, California. Oregon State Police troopers arrested Akins Friday on additional felony charges of manufacturing, distributing and possessing heroin. Medford police originally arrested Akins Friday on a warrant charging failure to appear in court on a charge of driving under the influence of intoxicants. He was lodged in the Jackson County Jail Friday on $154,000 bail. Drugs — Jose DeJesus Barajas Jr. 28, of the 700 block of North Riverside Avenue, Medford. Medford police arrested Barajas Saturday on a felony charge of methamphetamine possession and on warrants charging failure to appear in court on charges of fourth-degree assault, first-degree trespassing and harassment. He was booked in the jail Saturday and released because of overcrowding. Drugs — John Joseph Murphy, 34, no known address. Medford police arrested Murphy Saturday on a felony charge of methamphetamine possession, a misdemeanor charge of resisting arrest, warrants for failing to appear in court on charges of methamphetamine possession, providing false information to police and second-degree trespassing, and for violating his probation on a previous meth possession conviction. He was lodged in jail Saturday without bail. Drugs — Nicole Heavenly Ingraham, 33, of the 13200 block of Highway 234, Gold Hill. Medford police arrested Ingraham Saturday on a felony charge of methamphetamine possession and on warrants for failing to appear in court on previous charges of meth possession, resisting arrest, interfering with police and providing false information to police. She was booked in the jail Saturday and released because of overcrowding. Elude in a Vehicle — Cheryl Four Lakota Winds Larvie, 29, of the 600 block of Northwood Drive, Medford. Oregon State Police troopers arrested Larvie Saturday on a felony charge of attempting to elude police in a vehicle and a misdemeanor charge of reckless driving. She was lodged in jail Saturday on $12,500 bail. Drugs — Andrew Scott Surgeon, 31, of the 800 block of Sunrise Avenue, Medford. Jackson County sheriff's deputies arrested Surgeon Saturday on a felony charge of methamphetamine possession. He was booked in the jail Saturday and released on his own recognizance. Drugs — Jeffery Michael Larison, 25, no known address. Medford police arrested Larison Saturday on a felony charge of methamphetamine possession and a misdemeanor charge of offensive littering. He was lodged in jail Saturday on $12,500 bail. Failing to Register as a Sex Offender — Jarvis Orland James Gronholm, 31, no known address. Medford police arrested Gronholm Saturday on felony charges of failing to register his address as a sex offender and failing to register as a sex offender on his birthday, misdemeanor charges of resisting arrest, interfering with police and second-degree trespassing, and for violating his parole on a previous unauthorized use of a motor vehicle conviction. He was lodged in jail Saturday without bail.
