Emergency services, Oct. 7 By Mail Tribune staff Updated: Oct 07, 2022 12:57 PM A A Felony arrests Elude — Benjamin Otis Ovenstone, 27, of the 600 block of Northwood Drive, Medford. Medford police arrested Ovenstone Wednesday on charges of attempting to elude police in a vehicle, attempting to elude police by foot, reckless driving, recklessly endangering another person, warrants charging him with unauthorized use of a motor vehicle, possessing a stolen vehicle, failing to appear in Medford Municipal Court on a prior misdemeanor theft of services charge and for violating his parole on a prior vehicle theft conviction. He was held in the Jackson County Jail Friday without bail. Identity theft — Tera Faye Atchley, 33, of the 1100 block of Ramsey Road, Gold Hill. Medford police arrested Atchley Thursday on a charge of identity theft. She was booked in jail Thursday and no longer an inmate Friday. Weapon use — Kenneth Lee Anthony Burge, 20, no known address. Medford police arrested Burge Thursday on charges of unlawful use of a weapon, menacing, second-degree trespassing and misdemeanor theft of services. He was booked in jail Thursday and no longer an inmate Friday. Theft — Susan Lynn Crawford, 47, of the 2000 block of Northeast Fairview Avenue, Grants Pass. Crawford made an appearance Thursday in Jackson County Circuit Court on an added charge of first-degree theft. Medford police originally arrested Crawford Aug. 10 on charges of first-degree burglary, resisting arrest and third-degree theft. She was charged by the Jackson County District Attorney’s Office Aug. 27 with counts of first- and second-degree trespassing, public indecency, second-degree disorderly conduct and third-degree theft. She was held in jail Friday on $160,000 bail. Forgery — Jonathan Michael Doyle, 34, of the 100 block of South Holly Street, Medford. Ashland police arrested Doyle Thursday on charges of first-degree theft and forgery, first-degree possessing a forged instrument, identity theft and contempt of court for violating a restraining order. He was held in jail Friday without bail. Weapon use — Juan Manuel McGee, 45, of the 3900 block of Connor Drive, White City. McGee made a Thursday Circuit Court appearance on charges of unlawful use of a weapon, felony unlawfully possessing cocaine and three counts of coercion. He was held in jail Friday without bail. Vehicle theft — Andrea Dawn Nickum, 38, of the 7500 block of Division Road, White City. Oregon State Police arrested Nickum Thursday on a charge of unauthorized use of a motor vehicle. She was booked in jail and released on her own recognizance. Drugs — Michael Ray Vader, 29, of the 2400 block of Darrow Avenue, Klamath Falls. Jackson County sheriff’s deputies arrested Vader Thursday on warrants charging him with delivering heroin, felony heroin possession, providing false information to police and failing to appear in court on a previous charge of unlawfully possessing a Schedule II controlled substance. He was held in jail Friday without bail.
