Where was it going and when is the next one? — Manoah H., Medford You saw a collection of four private cars pulled by a Central Oregon Pacific Railroad engine, said John Bullion, railroad train master. "They were just here to see the line," said Bullion. "They kind of travel all over the place to do it." The train came down from Eugene, stayed overnight in Ashland, then returned to Eugene the next day. The cars’ owner and a few of his associates from the East Coast made the trip. A similar visit took place four or five years ago, but such trips are unusual. Advertisement It’s unlikely you’ll see any more passenger trains in the Rogue Valley in the near future.
