River Road in Rogue River, will hold a four-part vespers series titled “Deepen Relationships, Develop Disciples” at 6 p.m. Fridays at the church starting Oct. 8. Havurah Synagogue The synagogue in Ashland will hold online Shabbat services beginning Friday evening. Rabbi David Zaslow, spiritual leader of the Havurah, will join storyteller Debra Zaslow to welcome Shabbat at 7 p.m. Friday, Oct. 8, with a service offered via Zoom that will include candle lighting, songs, prayers and a story that celebrate the creation story and the deep connection to the environment through the story of Noah. At 10:30 a.m. Saturday, Oct. 9, Rabbi Zaslow will lead a Torah service on similar themes. All are welcome. Main St. in Medford, will hold an in-person worship service at 10:30 a.m. Sunday, Oct. 10, featuring guest guest pastor Richenda Fairhurst and a sermon titled “Seek the Good.” Childcare for kids through second grade is available during the service, and the church asks those attending to wear face masks.
