Howard R. Parton Aug 04, 2010 12:00 AM A A Howard R. Parton Howard R. Parton, 85, of Medford, Ore., passed away on Thursday, July 29, 2010. He was born on March 22, 1925 in Everett, Wash. Howard was a U.S. Army WWII veteran. He enjoyed golf, fishing, and working in his shop. Howard is survived by his wife, Donna Hinks Parton; sons, Allen Parton, Rodney Giddens, and Jerry Parton; a daughter, Deborah McKnight; four sisters; and three brothers. He was preceded in death by his brother, Wes Parton; son, Gregory Parton; and granddaughter, Jenny Parton. A viewing will be held on Thursday, August 5, 2010 from 4:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. at Conger-Morris Central Point. There will also be a military graveside service at Eagle Point National Cemetery at 10:00 a.m. followed by a memorial service at Central Point Conger-Morris at 12:00 p.m.
