The shooting is believed to have began in a motel room when the suspect got into a fight with three people he likely knew, said Detective Esteban Flores of the Mesa Police Department. The suspect allegedly fled the scene, shooting several other people, before carjacking a Honda and shooting another man after breaking into an apartment. Police were able to track down the unidentified suspect and use a Taser on him to subdue him.
