Emergency services, May 12 Saturday May 12, 2018 at 8:00 AM Felony arrests Vehicle theft — Ira Dean Carney, 59, no known address. Medford police arrested Carney Thursday on two felony counts of unauthorized use of a motor vehicle. Jackson County Sheriff’s deputies and Jackson County Circuit Court charged Carney Friday with an additional felony count of unauthorized use of a motor vehicle, a misdemeanor charge of possessing methamphetamine and for violating his probation on previous convictions for second-degree burglary, conspiring to commit second-degree burglary, first-degree theft, vehicle theft and possessing methamphetamine. He remained lodged in the Jackson County Jail Friday without bail. Drugs — Sabrina Hope Schoales, 33, of the 2900 block of Northwest Highland Avenue, Grants Pass. Oregon State Police troopers arrested Schoales Thursday on felony charges of delivering and possessing methamphetamine and on out-of-county warrants charging her with failing to appear in court on previous charges of delivering and possessing meth, and for violating her probation on a prior meth-delivery conviction. She remained lodged in jail Friday without bail. Criminal Mistreatment — Matthew Paul Munden, 50, of Brea, California. On Friday, Munden made his initial appearance in Jackson County Circuit Court on felony charges of first-degree criminal mistreatment, aggravated first-degree theft and first-degree theft. He was booked in the jail and released Friday on his own recognizance. Assault — Joseph Don Breshears Jr., 19, of the 200 block of Ashland Avenue, Medford. Medford police arrested Breshears Friday on a felony charge of fourth-degree assault and a misdemeanor charge of harassment. He was booked in the jail and released Friday on his own recognizance. Assault — Nathan Tran, 31, of the 7500 block of Blackwell Road, Medford. On Friday, Tran made his initial court appearance on felony charges of fourth-degree assault and unlawful use of a weapon, and on misdemeanor charges of harassment and fourth-degree assault. He was booked in the jail and released Friday on his own recognizance. Drugs — Shane Michael Durham, 28, of the 7400 block of Hollywood Avenue, Medford. Medford police arrested Durham Friday on a felony charge of possessing methamphetamine, on misdemeanor warrants for attempting to elude police in a vehicle, reckless driving and providing false information to police, and on out-of-county warrants for crimes that include possessing meth, manufacturing marijuana, felon in possession of a firearm, attempting to elude police in a vehicle, recklessly endangering and reckless driving. He was lodged in jail Friday on $53,000 bail. Coercion — Raymond James Bailey, 25, no known address. Medford police arrested Bailey Friday on a felony charge of coercion, misdemeanor charges of fourth-degree assault, menacing, harassment and for violating his probation on prior misdemeanor methamphetamine possession convictions. He was lodged in jail Friday on $35,500 bail. Crime reports Vandalism — 2600 block of Wyatt Drive, Medford. Medford police took a report of vandalism to two vehicles and a garage door at 6:51 a.m. Thursday. Damage caused by splattered house paint was valued at $700. Vandalism — 1100 block of Biddle Road, Medford. Medford police took a report of vandalism to an acrylic business sign at 9:52 a.m. Thursday. The damage was valued at $800. Lost Property — 400 block of South Oakdale Avenue, Medford. Medford police took a report of a lost 3/4 carat Le Vian Chocolate Diamond ring at 10:36 a.m. Thursday. The loss was valued at $1,450. Theft — 900 block of Chevy Way, Medford. Medford police took a report of vandalism to vehicles and fuel theft at 3:29 p.m. Thursday. About 30 gallons of fuel was reported stolen from a vehicle. The loss and damage to the vehicle’s fuel line was valued at $290.
