Whitehead eluded police on foot and in a vehicle in Medford on Thursday. Whitehead has previous arrests and convictions for hit and run, reckless driving, delivery and manufacture of a controlled substance/marijuana, multiple counts of fourth-degree assault, attempt to elude a police officer, recklessly endangering, criminal driving while suspended and probation violations. In January 2001, Whitehead was arrested by the Oregon State Police and indicted on charges of being an ex-con in possession of a firearm. He pleaded guilty and was sentenced to 15 months at the Oregon State Prison and two years post-prison supervision. He was released on April 2, 2002. He has since violated the terms of his parole and a statewide felony warrant was issued Sept. 23. Whitehead is described as a white male adult, 6 feet tall, weighing approximately 230 pounds. He has blue eyes and short, spiky blond hair. Whitehead has a tattoo of a joker skull, marijuana plants and roses on his upper right arm and may wear glasses. Whitehead may also use the alias of Travis Whitehead. The picture shown here, taken July 20, is the most recent image available.
