Oregon Road Conditions & Cams Email Story to a Friend July 14, 2005 Emergency services Felony arrests Assault — Charles Reed Trout II, 38, of the 105 block of Short Street, Rogue River. A Rogue River police officer Tuesday arrested Trout on a charge of fourth-degree assault. He was booked into Jackson County Jail and released after posting bail. Drugs — Michael Joseph Silva, 25, of the 2500 block of Springbrook Road, Medford. A Medford police officer Wednesday arrested Silva on a charge of delivery of marijuana. He was lodged in jail, where he remained late Wednesday on $20,000 bail. Drugs — Michael Joseph Atwood, 40, of the 500 block of North Riverside Avenue, Medford. A Medford police officer Wednesday arrested Atwood on a charge of possession of methamphetamine. He was lodged in jail and later released because of overcrowding. Drugs — Michael Ryan Bradshaw, 18, of the first block of Lindley Street, Medford. A Medford police officer Wednesday arrested Bradshaw on a charge of delivery of marijuana near a school. He was lodged in jail and released after posting bail. Drugs — Victor Manuel Garcia, 32, of the 1100 block of Winchester Street, Medford. A Medford police officer Wednesday arrested Garcia on charges of manufacturing a controlled substance near a school, delivery of methamphetamine and possession of methamphetamine. He was booked into jail, where he remained late Wednesday on $50,000 bail. Crime Reports Theft — 3600 block of Crater Lake Highway, Medford. A Medford police officer Wednesday took a report in which a Rug Doctor carpet cleaner valued at $1075 was stolen. Miscellaneous Emergency foster care — The Jackson County Child Welfare division of the Department of Human Services reports that 60 children were placed in foster care in June, with 19 of them placed with relatives. Methamphetamine use was a factor in 39 of those cases, officials said.
