October 29. 2014 12:31PM RCC hosts discussion on returning veterans A presentation designed to get people and communities talking about the challenges soldiers face when they return home is coming to Rogue Community College's Medford and Grants Pass campuses. "Life After War: Photography and Oral Histories of Coming Home" is an Oregon Humanities Conversation Project traveling the state to spark discussions. One free discussion will be at 9:30 a.m. Thursday, Nov. 13, on the Riverside Campus in Medford, 101 S. Bartlett St., room 132. The second will be later that day at 1:30 p.m. at the Redwood Campus in Grants Pass, 3345 Redwood Highway, in the Student Services Center. Freelance photographer Jim Lommasson will lead the 1 ½ hour discussions on returning soldiers who are dealing with physical and emotional injuries that affect their new life at home.
