A face shield is a clear plastic shield that covers the forehead, extends below the chin, and wraps around the sides of the face, according to the OHA. A face covering, according to the state, is a cloth, paper or disposable face covering that covers the nose and the mouth. Masks, face shields or face coverings are not required while eating or drinking at a restaurant. Children younger than 2 are not required to have a face covering. In general, some kind of face covering is required to enter any public indoor space, including businesses.
