October 10. 2014 2:16PM Scarecrow Festival returning to Hanley Farm this weekend Pumpkins, apples and scarecrows will return to historic Hanley Farm this weekend with the annual Scarecrow Festival. The event will run from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. Saturday and Sunday, Oct. 12-13, at 1053 Hanley Road, Central Point. Activities will include scarecrow-making, tours of the historic property, pumpkin painting, apple bobbing, food and music. Admission is free. A scarecrow-making kit costs $20, and it's $3 for tours. Proceeds from the event will benefit the Southern Oregon Historical Society.
