Emergency services, Oct. 11 Monday Oct 10, 2016 at 8:45 PM Oct 10, 2016 at 8:45 PM Felony arrests Kidnapping — James Lane Carson, 49, of the 2300 block of Happy Valley Drive, Medford. Jackson County sheriff's deputies Monday arrested Carson on charges of second-degree kidnapping, two counts each of fourth-degree assault and harassment, an out-of-county warrant and a warrant for failing to appear on a charge of driving under the influence of intoxicants. He was lodged Monday in the Jackson County Jail without bail. Drugs — Evan Graham Murphy Edgerton, 34, no known address. Eagle Point police Sunday arrested Edgerton on charges of possession and distribution of methamphetamine, possession of heroin, first-degree forgery, first-degree possession of a forged instrument and third-degree theft. He was lodged Sunday in jail and released Monday on his own recognizance. Identity theft — Tala Star Billings, 20, of the 900 block of Dakota Avenue, Medford. Medford police Monday arrested Billings on charges of identity theft and second-degree theft. She was lodged Monday in jail and released on her own recognizance. Robbery — Cavin Amato Dreveskra, 33, of the 200 block of Wimer Street, Ashland. Ashland police Sunday arrested Dreveskra on charges of third-degree robbery, third-degree theft, second-degree criminal mischief and harassment. He was lodged Sunday in jail and released Monday on his own recognizance.
