Originally slated to be an 18-hole tournament, play was cut short due to darkness. Saunders carded a nine-hole score of 51 and Caitlin O’Connor posted a 52 for the Comets, who tied for second with West Albany with a score of 224. North Medford, which came in last of four teams, picked up a 52 from Carli Brousseau. TEAM SCORES: Roseburg 214, Crater 224, West Albany 224, North Medford 274. CRATER (224): McKenna Saunders 51, Falon Sonnen 57, Savannah Perkins 64, Caitlyn O’Connor 52. NORTH MEDFORD (274): Carli Brousseau 52, Dana Jung 57, Lily Qualls 84, Emily McKay 81. Boys Golf MARSHFIELD INVITATIONAL: At Bandon, North Medford was led by Dylan Levos’ 28-over 100 at Bandon Trails. NORTH MEDFORD (423): Dylan Levos 100, Karl Michaels 101, Dallin Stimpson 106, D.J. Flora 116. Baseball ST. MARY’S 10, LOST RIVER 0, 6 inn.: At Merrill, Jose Perez tossed a two-hitter and Travis Danielson and Ben Robinson combined for seven RBIs for St. Mary’s. Perez had eight strikeouts and walked just one for the Crusaders (1-0). Danielson was 2-for-3 with four RBIs and Robinson was 2-for-4 with three RBIs.
