George Scott Hunt Jan 26, 2016 12:00 AM A A George Scott Hunt, 64, of Rogue River, Ore. passed away January 22, 2016. He was the son of Charles and Grace Hunt, and the husband of the late Laura Hunt. George passed away at Rogue Regional Medical Center in Medford following complications from cancer treatment surgery. He was a retired construction and maintenance worker. George had a great love for his church and his community. His true passion was assisting the Harvest House Food Bank. George is survived by his sister, Carol Wallis and his brother, Phillip Hunt. He was preceded in death by his parents; his wife, Laura; and his brothers, David and Charles. A celebration of life will be held at 11:00 a.m., Saturday, January 30, 2016 at the New Beginnings Christian Center, 270 West Evans Creek Rd., Rogue River, Ore. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Harvest House Food Bank, P.O. Box 1255, Rogue River, Ore. 97537 George Scott Hunt
