Emergency services, Dec. 26 Monday Dec 26, 2016 at 12:05 AM Felony arrests Drugs — Clifford Ray Rapstine, 24, of the 1400 block of Shady Lane, Grants Pass. Phoenix police arrested Rapstine Saturday on felony charges of manufacturing and distributing heroin. He was booked in the Jackson County Jail and released Saturday on his own recognizance. Drugs — Joseph James Murdock, 37, of the 2500 block of Sunnyview Lane, Medford. Medford police arrested Murdock Saturday on a felony charge of possessing methamphetamine, misdemeanor charges of driving while suspended and issuing a false application for a driver's license, and on warrants for failing to appear in court on previous charges of driving while suspended, unlawful entry into a motor vehicle, second-degree criminal mischief, second-degree trespassing and second-degree theft. He was booked in the jail Saturday and released Sunday because of overcrowding. Drugs — Gregory Reed Moody, 32, of the 100 block of Felkner Road, Grants Pass. Medford police arrested Moody Saturday on a felony charge of possessing heroin and on a sanction for violating his probation on a previous heroin possession conviction. He remained lodged in jail Sunday without bail. Drugs — Brandon Wade Orr, 37, of the 200 block of West Pine Street, Central Point. Medford police arrested Orr Saturday on felony charges of possessing heroin and methamphetamine, and on warrants for failing to appear in court on previous charges of possessing heroin, possessing methamphetamine and providing false information to police. He was booked in the jail Saturday and released Sunday because of overcrowding. Forgery — Sky Anthony Diamond, 25, of the 5000 block of Fern Valley Road, Medford. Medford police arrested Diamond Sunday on felony warrants charging first-degree forgery and identity theft, and on warrants for failing to appear in court on previous charges of third-degree theft, driving under the influence of intoxicants and driving while suspended. He was booked in the jail Saturday and released Sunday because of overcrowding. Robbery — Anthony Eugene Bourn, 20, no known address. Jackson County sheriff's deputies arrested Bourn Sunday on felony charges of first-degree robbery, unlawful use of a weapon and possessing methamphetamine, misdemeanor charges of menacing, reckless endangering and carrying a concealed firearm, and on an out-of-county warrant for failing to appear in court on a previous meth-possession charge. He was lodged in jail Sunday on $167,500 bail. Vehicle Theft — Jacob Daniel Zertuche, 24, no known address. Jackson County sheriff's deputies arrested Zertuche Sunday on felony charges of unauthorized use of a motor vehicle, possessing a stolen vehicle and second-degree robbery. He was lodged in jail Sunday on $115,000 bail. Sex Offender Registration — Jarvis Orlando James Gronholm, 31, no known address. Medford police arrested Gronholm Sunday on felony charges of failing to register his address as a sex offender and possessing methamphetamine, on warrants for failing to appear in court on previous charges of failing to register his address as a sex offender, failing to register as a sex offender on his birthday, possessing methamphetamine, resisting arrest, interfering with police and second-degree trespassing, and on a sanction for violating his probation on a previous meth-possession conviction. He was lodged in jail Sunday without bail. Assault — Jason Edward Sullivan, 38, of the 600 block of Laurel Street, Central Point. Medford police arrested Sullivan Sunday on a felony charge of fourth-degree assault, and on misdemeanor charges of harassment and violating a no-contact order. He was lodged in jail Sunday on $17,500 bail. Assault — Thomas Anthony Smylie, 31, no known address. Medford police arrested Smylie Sunday on felony charges of first- and second-degree assault. He was lodged in jail Sunday on $205,000 bail.
