Jackson County Community Corrections and Crime Stoppers of Southern Oregon want your help in locating 53-year-old Gary Eugene Hamer. In September 1994, Hamer was arrested and charged with first-degree sodomy, first-degree sexual abuse and display of child-sexual conduct. His victim was an 11 year old female. He pleaded guilty to the charges and was sentenced to serve 4 years and 2 months with 10 years’ probation. As a registered sex offender, Hamer is required to report his new address within 10 days of moving or within 10 days of his birthday. The last time Hamer registered was June 8, 2000, with an address in Central Point. Because he has not reported to his parole officer since that time, the Oregon State Parole Board has issued a felony warrant for his arrest. Hamer also is wanted in Los Angeles County for sexual assault. Advertisement Hamer is described as a white male adult, 5 feet 8 inches tall, weighing about 180 pounds. He has blue eyes and black hair. Hamer has upper dentures and wears glasses. He also has a scar near his right eye. Hamer may be using the aliases of Frank Lee Jackson, John Lee Brake or John Loyal.
