North Medford capitalized on five falls and four forfeits to post a 51-24 victory over South Medford and remain undefeated in the SWC. “South Medford took it to us,” said North Medford coach Phillip Lopez. “South Medford outworked us. We won that dual because of forfeits.” The Black Tornado received falls from Tanner Ulrey (106), Louis Dix (145), Cole Hornbrook (160), Justin Geyer (182) and Wyatt Westfall (195). The Panthers’ lone pin came from Ryan Beck at 170, and Cody Grossman (113) registered a technical fall. “We’re ranked in the top five in the state but they weren’t scared,” said Lopez. “South is a young team.
