The Schneider Museum of Art: Selections from PORTLAND2014: A Biennial of Contemporary Art, an exhibit that surveys Oregon artists who are defining and advancing the contemporary arts landscape, will run through Dec. 6 at The Schneider Museum of Art on the Southern Oregon University campus, 1250 Siskiyou Blvd., Ashland. Curator Amanda Hunt visited nearly 50 studios and reviewed more than 300 entries before selecting 15 Oregon artists to participate in the exhibit. These artists include up-and-coming as well as established professionals who work in a variety of media. Most are based in Portland, Salem or Eugene. Environment-focused Film: Southern Oregon Climate Action Now will show the film "Dancing Salmon Home" at 6 p.m. Tuesday, Nov. 25, at the Medford library, 205 S. Central Ave. The film chronicles efforts by the Winemem Winto tribe to reintroduce salmon to the McCloud River in Northern California. Audubon Society Meeting: The Rogue Valley Audubon Society will hold its monthly meeting at 7 p.m. Tuesday, Nov. 25, at Lidgate Hall of the Medford Congregational United Church of Christ, 1801 E.
