A Medford police officer Thursday arrested Stark on charges of attempting to elude a police officer in a vehicle, disorderly conduct and driving under the influence of intoxicants. He was lodged in the Jackson County Jail, where he remained late Thursday on $16,000 bail. Identity theft, drugs — Sean Michael Katz, 31, of the first block of California Street, Ashland. An Ashland police officer Thursday arrested Katz on charges of identity theft, possession of amphetamines, second-degree trespass and providing false information about a crime, along with two out-of-county warrants charging him with failure to appear in court. He was lodged in jail, where he remained late Thursday on $73,000 bail. Drugs — Wanda Lee Atkins, 33, no known address. A Jackson County sheriff’s deputy Thursday arrested Atkins on a warrant charging her with possession of cocaine, along with a federal hold. She was lodged in jail without bail. Vehicle theft, drugs — Marc Robert Edwards, 29, of the 400 block of Arnos Road, Talent. An Ashland police officer Thursday arrested Edwards on charges of unlawful use of a vehicle, possession of amphetamines, second-degree trespass, unauthorized entry into a motor vehicle, third- degree theft, fraudulent use of a credit card and a parole violation. He was lodged in jail, where he remained late Thursday on $20,000 bail. Drugs — Marvin Lee Hamilton Jr., 41, of the 4700 block of South Pacific Highway, Phoenix. A Medford police officer Thursday arrested Hamilton on charges of possession of amphetamines and a probation violation. He was lodged in jail, where he remained late Thursday on $5,000 bail. Drugs — Cynthia Eve Cole, 36, of the 1100 block of West Ninth Street, Medford. A Jackson County sheriff’s deputy Thursday arrested Cole on a charge of possession of amphetamines. She was lodged in jail and later released on her own recognizance. Advertisement Drugs — Derrick Lee Austin Atterberry, 24, of the 800 block of Grant Avenue, Medford. An Eagle Point police officer Thursday arrested Atterberry on charges of possession of marijuana near a school, providing false information to police about a crime, failure to pay traffic fines and a parole violation. He was lodged in jail without bail. Crime reports Burglary — 500 block of Driftwood Place, Medford. A Medford police officer Thursday took a report of a burglary in which someone entered a home and stole a purse and its contents, valued at $70. Vehicle theft — 1200 block of South Riverside Avenue, Medford. A Medford police officer Thursday took a report of a theft in which a 1981 Toyota pickup valued at $800 was stolen. Vehicle theft — 900 block of Biddle Road, Medford. A Medford police officer Thursday took a report of a theft in which a 1993 Cadillac valued at $500 was stolen.
