A Britt news release said founding members Ali Campbell, Astro and Mickey Virtue have reunited with the band to bring back hits that dominated the charts in the 1980s and '90s. UB40 will perform on Friday, July 14, with openers Matisyahu, a returning Britt favorite, and rising reggae band Raging Fyah, the release said. The full Britt 2017 season will be announced on April 6. UB40's first Labour Of Love album, in 1983, produced several hits, including a cover of Neil Diamond’s "Red Red Wine," a longtime fan favorite. The band also scored hits with "(I Can’t Help) Falling In Love With You" and "I Got You Babe," a duet between Campbell and Chrissie Hynde. Ticket sales for the UB40 concert begin Wednesday, Feb. 8, for Britt members, and orders will be filled by member level. General public sales for lawn tickets will be available online only, and will begin Monday, Feb. 13. Reserved ticket sales will begin Friday, May 12, the beginning of Britt’s ticket sales to the general public.
