A Jackson County sheriff’s deputy Tuesday arrested Brown on charges of fourth-degree assault and harassment. He was lodged in the Jackson County Jail, where he remained late Tuesday on $8,000 bail. Rape, sodomy — Travis Earl Reyes, 22, no known address. A Medford police officer Tuesday arrested Reyes on warrants charging him with two counts of third-degree rape and two counts of third-degree sodomy. He was lodged in jail, where he remained late Tuesday on $25,000 bail. Theft — Paul Mitchell Gallagher, 33, no known address. A Medford police officer Tuesday arrested Gallagher on a charge of first-degree theft. He was lodged in jail, where he remained late Tuesday on $5,000 bail. Drugs — Joseph Urmston Farrow, 48, of the 1900 block of Skyview Drive, Medford. Farrow appeared Tuesday in Jackson County Circuit Court on an indictment charging him with amphetamine possession. He was booked into jail and released on his own recognizance. Drugs — Robert Scott Ulery, 23, of Sheridan. Ulery appeared Tuesday in Circuit Court on an indictment charging him with amphetamine possession. He was booked into jail and released on his own recognizance. Drugs — Candace Lynn Mitchell, 42, of the 4100 block of Corey Road, Central Point. Mitchell appeared Tuesday in Circuit Court on an indictment charging her with four counts of amphetamine possession and two counts of delivering amphetamines. She was booked into jail and released on her own recognizance. Advertisement Drugs — Christopher Sean Waites, 20, of the 800 block of Mountain View Drive, Eagle Point. A Medford police officer Tuesday arrested Waites on charges of possession of designer drugs and amphetamine possession. He was lodged in jail and later released because of overcrowding. Assault — Rebecca Lee Scott, 45, of the 2300 block of Winslow Park Drive, Medford. A Medford police officer late Monday arrested Scott on charges of fourth-degree assault and harassment. She was lodged in jail and later released after posting bail. Crime reports Theft — A man was jailed late Monday after stealing hundreds of dollars in clothing and blankets from two Rogue Valley Mall stores, then arriving at his parked vehicle to find the keys had been locked inside, police said. Shane Wayne Wood, 30, no known address, was lodged in the Jackson County Jail on a misdemeanor count of second-degree theft, a probation violation and a contempt of court charge following the Monday afternoon incident, Medford police Lt. Mike Moran said. Wood allegedly placed stolen items inside a Ford Tempo, then went back inside the mall to obtain more goods. When he returned with a second load of allegedly stolen merchandise, he learned the keys had been locked inside the vehicle, Moran said. Police arrived at the mall parking lot and found Woods arguing about the keys with his alleged accomplice, Jessica Jean Walloch, 20, of Grants Pass. Walloch was cited for second-degree theft and released, Moran said. Officers subdued Woods with pepper spray after he became "very combative" with them and tried to kick out a patrol-car window while en route to jail, Moran said. Theft — 6200 block of Iris Lane, Central Point. A Jackson County sheriff’s deputy Tuesday took a report of a theft in which $1,000 worth of items were stolen from a vehicle. Vehicle theft — 2300 block of Stonefield Way, Medford. A Medford police officer Tuesday took a report of a theft in which a 1976 Jaguar valued at $4,000 was stolen. Miscellaneous Emergency foster care — The Jackson County Child Welfare division of the Department of Human Services reports that 22 children were placed in foster care in January, with six of them placed with relatives.
