Jackson County reports 17 new COVID-19 cases Thursday By Mail Tribune staff Oct 15, 2020 02:51 PM A A Jackson County Public Health reported 17 new cases of COVID-19 Thursday. The new Jackson County cases raised the local total to 1,430 cases, including 200 people who are considered infectious. There have been 106 hospitalizations and six deaths from the illness in Jackson County. The Oregon Health Authority reported 374 new cases and three more deaths Thursday, pushing the state’s total to 38,525 cases and raising the death toll to 611.
