Emergency services, July 28 By Mail Tribune staff Jul 28, 2022 12:00 AM A A Felony arrests Robbery — Matthew James Collier, 33, of the 700 block of Perri Place, Medford. Medford police arrested Collier Monday on felony charges of third-degree robbery and second-degree burglary. He also was charged with misdemeanors of second-degree criminal trespassing and second-degree criminal mischief. He was booked in the Jackson County Jail Monday and was being held Wednesday on $15,000 bail. Mail theft — Robert Christian Garnett, 25, no known address. Medford police arrested Garnett Monday on a felony count of mail theft. He was booked at the Jackson County Jail Monday and released on his own recognizance. Identity theft — Anthony Jose Hernandez-Hewitt, 24, of the 3400 block of North Pacific Highway, Medford. Hewitt was arrested by Medford police Tuesday on a felony charge of identity theft and misdemeanor charges of resisting arrest and driving under the influence of intoxicants. Hewitt was booked in the Jackson County Jail Tuesday and released. Sex abuse — Joshua Remington Pettry, 28, of the 300 block of Broad Street, Butte Falls. Jackson County sheriff’s deputies arrested Pettry on two felony counts of second-degree encouraging child abuse. He was lodged in the Jackson County Jail and held without bail. Identity theft — Sarah Joann Pruitt, 41, of the 1000 block of West Eighth Street, Medford. Central Point police arrested Pruitt Monday on a felony charge of identity theft. She also was charged with misdemeanor charges of unlawful possession of less than an ounce of methamphetamine, tampering with evidence and second-degree criminal trespassing. Pruitt was booked in the Jackson Country Jail Tuesday and released on her own recognizance.
