Food bank needs help to process donations By Daily Tidings staff report Dec 10, 2014 12:00 AM A A The Ashland Emergency Food Bank is seeking volunteers to help process six to seven tons of food contributions Saturday. Volunteers are needed in two time slots — 9:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m., or 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. High school student volunteers will receive credit for double community service hours at the event. Those who are planning to volunteer are asked to call the food bank at 541-488-9544 or email [email protected]. The food bank is located at 560 Clover Lane, across from the Holiday Inn Express.
