Oregon Road Conditions & Cams Email Story to a Friend February 26, 2006 Restaurant Inspections Jackson County health inspectors evaluated 110 restaurants in January. All passed their semi-annual inspections, scoring 70 points or higher. Inspectors subtract points from a perfect score of 100 for critical violations. A portion of scores appears weekly in the Mail Tribune. Restaurants that received passing scores are: Providence Medford Medical Center, Medford — 80. Rogue River Lodge, Trail — 87. Silver Dragon Restaurant, Medford —77. Siskiyou Micro-Pub, Ashland — 88. Sol Maya Mexican Cuisine, Medford — 79. South Medford Dairy Queen, Barnett Road, Medford — 81. Squeeze Inn Sandwich Shop, Medford — 97. St. Vincent De Paul, Medford — 72. Subway Sandwiches, Center Drive, Medford — 95. Subway of Shady Cove, Shady Cove — 95. Sun China Boat, Central Point — 90. Sunrise Donuts, Medford — 98. Taco Bell, Ashland — 92. Taco Bell, Center Drive, Medford — 89. Taco Bell, White City — 87. Tolo Tavern, Central Point — 89. Totem Pole Drive Up, Butte Falls — 96. Touvelle Lodge, Central Point — 95. Upper Rogue Moose Lodge, Shady Cove — 91. Whiskey River Cafe and Lounge, Central Point — 86. Wild Goose Cafe and Bar, Ashland — 76. Yellow Submarine Express Sandwich Shop, Medford — 99. Yummy Yans, Medford — 85. The Zone Sports Grill, Medford — 89. Critical violations include: foods held at improper temperatures, improperly cooled or reheated, not properly protected from contamination, from unapproved origins, unsafe, adulterated, or not honestly presented, not date-marked or discarded upon expiration; raw animal foods improperly cooked; presence of rodents or insects; inadequate personal hygiene; failure to clean and sanitize food equipment; lack of an approved water system; toxic chemicals or cleansers not properly stored, used, or labeled.
