Two arrested in armed robbery Pair accost Medford man outside Osprey Two men who attempted to rob a Medford man at knifepoint early New Year�s Day outside the Osprey Bar have been arrested and jailed. Stewart Robert Wilkison, 20, and Kellen Reise Carter, 19, both of Medford, were charged with first-degree robbery in connection with the 1:51 a.m. incident. Both men were lodged in the Jackson County Jail on $1 million bail each. Wilkison and Carter were identified by the victim. The victim�s age was not available. Medford Police Sgt. Tom McCleary said the victim was walking to his car outside the bar at 404 E. Main St., when the two men allegedly tried to rob him. One man held a curved-blade knife to the victim�s stomach and demanded his money. When the victim didn�t comply, one of the suspects punched him in the face, police said. The victim broke away and went into the bar, where he called police. Officers picked up Wilkison and Carter at the intersection of Royal Avenue and Stevens Street, several blocks away. One of the suspects admitted committing the robbery, police said. The incident was the third armed robbery in two days in Medford. Police are still searching for a man who used a handgun Sunday evening to demand an undisclosed amount of cash from a Subway sandwich shop at 1550 Biddle Road. The man is described as a white male, aged late 20s to early 30s, about 6-feet-tall and 180 pounds. He reportedly has a red beard and was wearing green camouflage pants, a camouflage hat and a tan zippered jacket. Police also are still looking for a suspect who reportedly stole an Ashland man�s wallet and car at gunpoint in Medford at 9:17 a.m. Sunday morning. Police said the gunman knocked on a door at 507 W. Jackson St, Apt. B, and robbed the victim of the wallet and his 1987 Honda Prelude. According to police, the suspect fired six shots when the victim started to run, but none of the bullets struck the Ashland man. The stolen, two-door Prelude was red and had Oregon license No. PVQ-597. Anyone with information about the incidents is encouraged to contact Medford police at 774-2270.
