Emergency services, Dec. 16 By Mail Tribune staff Dec 16, 2022 12:00 AM A A Felony arrests Weapon use — John Dylan Ryan, 38, of the 200 block of Tolman Creek Road, Ashland. Ashland police arrested Ryan Monday on charges of unlawful use of a weapon and menacing constituting domestic violence. He was held in the Jackson County Jail Thursday. Criminal mischief — Logan Gerardo Carranza Legarda, 23, of the 600 block of Midway Road, Medford. Medford police arrested Carranza Legarda Wednesday on charges of first-degree criminal mischief and second-degree trespassing. Carranza Legarda was booked in jail and released Wednesday, then rearrested by Medford police later the same day on added counts of first-degree criminal mischief, menacing, recklessly endangering another person, second-degree trespassing and a contempt of court charge for violating a release agreement. He was held in jail Thursday. Robbery — Jacques Norman Gerardy, 58, no known address. Ashland police arrested Gerardy Wednesday on charges of second-degree robbery, unlawful use of a weapon, attempted second-degree assault, first-degree theft, menacing and resisting arrest. He was held in jail Thursday. Suspended driving — Kyle Dylan Freeland, 32, no known address. Oregon State Police arrested Freeland Wednesday on charges of felony driving while suspended or revoked and providing false information to police, as well as on warrants for violating his probation on a prior felony driving while suspended or revoked conviction and for violating his parole on a prior felony drunken driving conviction. He was held in jail Thursday. Burglary — Seth David Gunter, 44, of the 600 block of Siskiyou Boulevard, Ashland. Gunter made an appearance Wednesday in Jackson County Circuit Court on added charges of second-degree burglary, second-degree criminal mischief and third-degree theft. Ashland police originally arrested Gunter July 16 on charges of third-degree theft, first- and second-degree trespassing, and later that month he was charged in Circuit Court with first- and second-degree criminal mischief and unlawfully carrying a concealed weapon. He was held in jail Thursday on $75,000 bail. Strangulation — Varaha Nrsngha Mims, 36, of Badger, California. Jackson County sheriff’s deputies arrested Mims Wednesday on charges of felony strangulation constituting domestic violence, misdemeanor fourth-degree assault and harassment. He was held in jail Thursday. Strangulation — Alejandro Feliz Torres Solorio, 37, of the 1200 block of Cherry Street, Medford. Torres Solorio made an appearance in Circuit Court Wednesday on a charge of felony strangulation constituting domestic violence. Central Point originally arrested Torres Solorio Tuesday on misdemeanor fourth-degree assault and interfering with someone making a police report. He was held in jail Thursday.
