Cyclist killed in hit-and-run identified Jul 20, 2021 01:00 AM A A A female cyclist was killed July 3 on Pioneer Road near Phoenix. Has she been identified yet? — R.T. Sue Solomon Hutchison was identified as the cyclist killed in the July 3 hit-and-run, according to the Jackson County’s Sheriff's Office. Hutchison, 84 years old, was from Talent. Lucas Patterson, 18, the driver who hit Hutchison, fled the scene. He later returned and was arrested. Patterson was booked and released on bail July 4.
