Adrian Benjamin Rodriguez, 31, answered questions related to the death of 23-year-old Miguel Angel Delfin, according to a post on the Jackson County Sheriff's Office Facebook page. Delfin died of a single gunshot wound on Highway 99 in front of the store. Suspected shooter Bradley Robert Quillen, 26, is lodged in the Jackson County Jail without bail on murder and manslaughter charges. The sheriff's department named Rodriguez a person of interest April 5. Surveillance footage showed Rodriguez entered the 7-Eleven with Quillen shortly before a fight broke out in the store. A call to the sheriff's department regarding where, when and how they located Rodriguez was not immediately returned. Rodriguez lived blocks away from the 7-Eleven and a mobile home park where Quillen lived, court and property records show. A Jackson County Jail clerk said Rodriguez has not been booked in the jail since January, when he was extradited to Shasta County, Calif., to face charges of violating his parole on California burglary and stolen vehicle charges. In Jackson County, Rodriguez pleaded guilty to a felony charge of methamphetamine possession in January, and in 2015 he pleaded guilty to misdemeanor charges of strangulation, resisting arrest, driving under the influence of intoxicants and reckless driving.
