Ashland swimmers notch big wins ASHLAND -- Dustin Asher and Adam Foley each won two individual events as the Ashland boys remained undefeated in District 6 swimming Tuesday. The Grizzlies scored 112 points in a three-way victory at the Southern Oregon University pool. Crater was second with 31 points, followed by Klamath Union with 23. The Ashland girls also romped, scoring 104 points. Klamath Union had 36 and Crater 26. Asher set personal-best times in the 50-yard freestyle (24.69 seconds) and 100 freestyle (55.10), while Foley posted a personal best in the 100 butterfly (1:02.62). The Ashland girls had three swimmers register personal bests -- Vanessa Walker, Alyssa Simonsen and Jessica Mattson. Ashley Brace won two individual events for the Grizzlies.
