Starting on the outside of the second row, Estremado grabbed the lead after a crash-ridden first few laps and held it to the finish. Points leader Brad Alfrey held down second for most of the race but ran into problems on the final lap. Jay Hinton, Jr., wound up in second place, with Mark Wague taking third, Scott Welden fourth and Justin Holt fifth. Frank Word III and Bo Shields staged a spirited duel in the pro stock feature before Word jumped into the lead on a restart on lap 19 and never looked back. Shields held on for second but had his hands full holding off Mike Jones. Travis Holt claimed fourth and Terry Townsend fifth. Advertisement Super 4 points leader Brian Barnes piloted his car to his sixth win of the season � the most of any driver in any class this year at the speedway. Even with a late yellow flag bringing the field closer to Barnes, he was able to stay well ahead of Terry Hadley, who took second, and Vicki Macormic in third. Pat Akins finished fourth and Greg Arnold fifth. Tony Christopher made it to the winner’s circle for the first time of his racing career by outlasting Dave Bishop to take the checkered flag in the mini stock feature. The two were racing nearly side by side for the final few laps with Bishop taking the low grove on the final lap. Bishop got to Christopher’s door on lap four of the white flag lap but wasn’t able to get by as Christopher won by half a car length. Tom Williams, Eric Hull and Belinda took the next three places.
