March 13. 2015 12:01AM Religion briefs: Friday, March 13 Religion and culture lecture series Author Diana Butler Bass will give lectures and discussions at 7 p.m. Friday, March 13 and 9 a.m. Saturday, March 14, at First United Methodist Church, 175 N. Main St., Ashland. The lectures will draw from the theme "Embracing a New Spiritual Awakening: Possibilities and Predicaments for Traditional Congregations."
