Eli Young Band to headline Jackson County Fair The Eli Young Band will perform July 12 at the Jackson County Fair. [Photo from eliyoungband.com] Tuesday Feb 21, 2017 at 1:51 PM Feb 21, 2017 at 4:32 PM Country music's Eli Young Band, known for hits "Crazy Girl," "Dust" and "Always the Love Songs," will headline the Jackson County Fair July 12, The Expo announced today. Tickets are $40 for Platinum standing room only, $35 for Gold level seats and $30 for Silver level seats. Lawn seats are free with fair admission, but seating is on a limited first-come, first-served basis. This year's fair runs July 12-16 at The Expo, 1 Peninger Road, Central Point. Gabriel Iglesias headlines July 15. The four members of the Eli Young Band — lead vocalist Mike Eli, guitarist James Young, bassist Jon Jones and drummer Chris Thompson — have been playing together since 2000 while attending North Texas State University. With the 2011 release of their Republic Nashville debut, "Life at Best," band members scored their first No. 1 hit with "Crazy Girl," which was named Song of the Year by the Academy of Country Music. "Even If It Breaks Your Heart" also became a No. 1 hit and earned the band Grammy nominations for Best Duo-Group Performance and Best Country Song.
