McMenemy has arrests and convictions in Oregon dating to June 1998. He was arrested and convicted for unauthorized use of a motor vehicle, a felony charge, in Deschutes County in 1998 and arrested/convicted on charges of burglary in the first degree, felon in possession of a firearm, and aggravated animal abuse in the first degree by Douglas County in 2001. On Feb. 25, 2003, McMenemy was arrested for assault on a public safety officer and pleaded guilty to the charge in August. Also in August, McMenemy pleaded guilty to the charge of felon in possession of a firearm in Jackson County. McMenemy is suffering from mental health problems and was to be transported to the state mental hospital when he disappeared on Dec. 12. He was last seen wearing a red winter jacket and tan boots. Advertisement McMenemy is described as a white male adult, 6 feet 3 inches tall, weighing about 170 pounds. He has green eyes and brown hair. He has scars on his arms, right wrist and right hand. McMenemy wears contacts now but has worn glasses in the past. McMenemy may be using the aliases of William McMann, Patrick McMann, Bob Smith or William Smith Masters.
