Pigeon fanciers have club Does anyone here in the Rogue Valley raise homing pigeons? If so, is there a local organization through which I could contact them? -- Kathleen M., Ashland You're in luck, Kathleen, there's a strong interest in pigeons in the Rogue Valley. The Medford Homing Pigeon Club is a 30-year-old organization with about 14 members who have hundreds of birds, said Chuck Jones, a Medford man who is the secretary-treasurer. The club's membership stretches from Merlin to Ashland. You can contact Jones at 773-2898. Also, the Central Pacific Pigeon Club is a group that raises pigeons of all breeds. While the club has members from Washington to Southern California, Alex Lacy has been its president. He can be reached at 857-5014.
