Lane Comment MailTribune.com Writer Posted Jul. 3, 2015 at 2:00 AM Posted Jul. 3, 2015 at 2:00 AM » Social News James "Jim" L. Lane James "Jim" L. Lane passed away June 22, 2015 in Medford, Ore. He was born March 6, 1943 in Exeter, Calif. to James E. "Pete" Lane and Zelma O. (Pierce) Lane. Jim was a musician in the Rogue Valley for over 50 years with his band "The Renegades." He belonged to the Church of Christ, Medford Eagles, and Grants Pass Dance Club. He is survived by his sister, Carol Lane, Medford, Ore.; daughters, Dawn Gabriel, Springfield, Mo., Teresa Thiesfel, Springfield, Ore., and Josandra Hansen, Vancouver, Wash.; grandsons, Josh Gabriel, TJ Thiesfeld, and Nathan Thiesfeld; nieces, Lori Furst and Robin Coryell; and great-nephews Joey Adams, Christian Carlson, and Alex Furst. He was preceded in death by his parents and one granddaughter ,Chrystal Gabriel . There will be a memorial service at 1:00 p.m., Saturday, July 11, 2;015 at Keene Way Church of Christ, 1885 N. Keene Way, Medford, Ore., and 12-4 p.m, Thursday, July 16, 2015 at the Medford Eagles.
