Maurice Woodard at Oberon's Tavern Jun 02, 2014 12:00 AM A A One-man band Maurice Woodard’s eclectic range of music includes everything from blues and R&B to pop, country and comedy songs ... all played with acoustic or electric guitars and a set of stacked keyboards. “The sound is that of a full orchestra rather than the old, stripped down, minstrel style of a guitar, harmonica and maybe a beat box,” Woodard says. Woodard performs his varied set of originals and covers from 3 to 7 p.m. Wednesdays at Oberon’s Tavern, 45 N. Main St., Ashland. He also plays at 6:30 p.m. Fridays at Mystic Treats, 2345 Ashland St., Ashland. Cover for either show is free.
