Jackson County sheriff’s deputies late Sunday arrested Griffith on charges of possession of methamphetamines, possession of contraband and for violating his probation from a previous drug conviction. He was lodged Monday in the Jackson County Jail without bail. Drunken driving — James Craig Kinman, 49, of the 1800 block of Patrick Street, Medford. Medford police on Monday arrested Kinman on a felony drunken driving charge. He was lodged in the Jackson County Jail, where he was being held Monday in lieu of $25,000 bail. Drugs — Materrial Byrd, 44, no address available. Jackson County sheriff’s deputies Monday arrested Byrd on charges of possession of a controlled substance and tampering with drug records. He was lodged in the Jackson County Jail, where he was being held Monday in lieu of $10,000 bail. Mistreatment — William Michael Burke, 59, of Gaston, Ore. Burke made his initial appearance Monday in Jackson County Circuit Court on a charge of first-degree criminal mistreatment. He was processed Monday at the Jackson County Jail, then released. She was processed Monday at the Jackson County Jail, then released. Drugs — Robert Wayne Eastman, 35, of the 2700 block of Avenue A, White City. Jackson County sheriff’s deputies Sunday arrested Eastman on a charge of possession of amphetamines. He was lodged in the Jackson County Jail, then released Monday on his own recognizance due to jail overcrowding. Crime reports Hit and run — On the 6100 block of Pioneer Road, Jacksonville. Jackson County sheriff’s deputies took a report of a hit-and-run accident that damaged a fence. The case, which was reported at 8:18 a.m., caused an estimated $2,500 in damage.
