Phoenix's Heath, Nelson earn first-team all-district Feb 26, 2008 12:00 AM A A Phoenix High junior Kayla Heath and senior Courtney Nelson each earned first-team all-District 4 girls swimming honors recently. Heath broke her own school record with a winning time of 1:05.15 in the 100 backstroke, while Nelson set a new standard in the 200 free in 2:03.85. On the boys side, seniors Yuki Suetsugu and Peter Williams were named to the second team. District 4 All-Conference BOYS FIRST TEAM — David Elligot, jr., Cottage Grove; Matt Johnson, so., North Bend; Zachary Taylor, sr., Cottage Grove; Ephraim Morris, sr., North Bend; Cameron Barton, sr., Cottage Grove; Colby Fix-Carter, jr., Cottage Grove. SECOND TEAM — Yuki Suetsugu, sr., Phoenix; Peter Williams, sr., Phoenix; Chase Kearney, jr., Hidden Valley; Ethan Zimmer, jr., Henley; James Verger, fr., North Bend.
