Police and fire reports Oct 20 Oct 20, 2009 12:00 AM A A Monday 11:50 a.m. — Police responded to a report of criminal mischief in the 100 block of Logan Drive. Monday 12:17 p.m. — Police responded to a forged prescription in the Bi-Mart pharmacy. Upon further investigation, a 37-year-old woman was arrested for forgery in the second degree, controlled substance fraud and tampering with drug records. Monday 12:19 p.m. — Police cited and released a juvenile for stealing $2.68 worth of food from Market of Choice. Monday 1:26 p.m. — A female juvenile was cited and released for unlawful possession of marijuana within 1,000 feet of a school at Ashland Middle School. Monday 2:03 p.m. — Police received a report of bicycle theft in the 400 block of Beach Street. The case is currently under investigation. Monday 2:49 p.m. — Police received a report of disorderly conduct near the railroad tracks on Wightman Street. Monday 3:18 p.m. — Police received a report of fraud in the Ashland area. There are currently no further suspects or leads. Monday 4:20 p.m. — Police arrested a 19-year-old woman for theft in the 1400 block of Siskiyou Boulevard. She was cited and released at the scene. Monday 4:40 p.m. — Police arrested a 48-year-old man for disorderly conduct in the second degree after he engaged in violent and tumultuous behavior in the 2200 block of Siskiyou Boulevard. He was cited and released. Monday 8:45 p.m. — Police investigated a possible assault that took place in the 500 block of Siskiyou Boulevard. Monday 10:38 p.m. — Police arrested an 18-year-old man for driving under the influence of intoxicants during a traffic stop for failure to use his headlights in the 2200 block of McCall Drive. He was additionally cited for possession of less than an ounce of marijuana. Tuesday 1:04 a.m. — Police arrested a 26-year-old man for driving under the influence of intoxicants during a traffic stop near the intersection of Siskiyou Boulevard and Bellview Avenue. He was transported to Ashland Police Department where he blew a .15 BAC and was cited and released. Ashland Fire & Rescue Monday 9:46 a.m. — Rescuers responded to a medical emergency in the 1300 block of Tolman Creek Road. Monday 11:04 a.m. — Rescuers responded to a medical emergency in the first block of Water Street. Monday 2:20 p.m. — Firefighters responded to a power line down near the intersection of Iowa and Gresham streets. Monday 3:07 p.m. — Rescuers responded to a medical emergency in the 900 block of Skylark Place. Monday 3:17 p.m. — Firefighters responded to a report of an odor of smoke in the 800 block of Mountain Meadows Drive. Monday 3:53 p.m. — Rescuers responded to a medical emergency in the 1300 block of Ashland Street. Monday 6:50 p.m. — Rescuers responded to a medical emergency in the 200 block of Maple Street. Monday 7:55 p.m. — Ashland Fire & Rescue assisted an emergency medical services crew in the 900 block of Park Street. Monday 9:42 p.m. — Rescuers responded to a medical emergency in the 200 block of Myer Creek Road.
