February 17, 1931 - January 14, 2017 Donald Harrington Clark, 85, passed away Saturday, January 14, 2017. He was born February 17, 1931 in Medford, Oregon to Willard Barto and Marie Elizabeth (Stone) Clark. He married Anita Ruth Shaw, who survives, in 1953 in Reno, Nevada. Don honorably served in the U.S. Army during the Korean war. He worked in the timber/lumber industry, mostly for McGrew Brothers Lumber which later became Croman Corp. as a dry kiln operator. He was a member of the First Advent Christian Church which later became the Blessed Hope Christian Church. His devotion to his family and his amazing sense of humor made him the best Dad, Uncle, Papa, and Great-grandpa ever. He especially enjoyed his grandchildren. In addition to his beloved wife, Anita, Don is survived by four children, son, Dan (Beth) Clark of Lake Clarke Shores, Florida; daughters, Jane (Ernie) Conrad of Central Point, Ore., Krystal (Butch) Wheeless of Springfield, Ore., and Ann (Bryan) Barns of Medford; two brothers, Vaughn (Marjorie) Clark and Jim (Pat) Clark; and sister, Jacque Russell all of Medford; seven grand-children; and six great-grandchildren. He was preceded by his parents; a sister, Carol Aubrey; and grandson, Aaron Gudzan. Memorial contributions are suggested to the Alzhiemer's Association. Memorial services will be held at 2:00 p.m. Saturday, January 21, 2017 at the Memory Gardens Chapel, 1395 Arnold Lane, Medford, Ore. He will be laid to rest in Memory Gardens Memorial Park. www.memorygardensmortuary.com
