Ashland police on Monday arrested Mann on a charge of possession of amphetamines as well as a warrant charging her with failing to appear on a previous drug arrest. She was lodged at the Jackson County Jail, where she was released Monday afternoon on her own recognizance. Assault — John Robert Bowling, 19, of the 1100 block of Stevens Street, Medford. Medford police on Sunday arrested Bowling on two counts of third-degree assault. He was lodged at the Jackson County Jail, then released Monday on his own recognizance. Drugs — Omar Ali Young, 51, of the 1500 block of Siskiyou Boulevard, Ashland. Ashland police early Monday arrested Young on charges of possession of amphetamines, fourth-degree assault, frequenting a place where controlled substances are used and three counts of endangering the welfare of a minor. He was lodged at the Jackson County Jail, then released Monday on his own recognizance. Theft — Robert James Travis, 62, no address available. Medford police on Monday arrested Travis on charges of first-degree theft and second-degree criminal mischief. He was lodged at the Jackson County Jail, where he was being held Monday night in lieu of $9,000 bail. Drugs — Kyle Lee Graham, 20, of the 900 block of Siskiyou Boulevard, Ashland. Ashland police on Sunday arrested Graham on charges of possession of amphetamines and frequenting a place where controlled substances are used. She was lodged at the Jackson County Jail, then released Monday on her own recognizance. Advertisement Miscellaneous Jail releases — A total of 86 inmates were released last week from the Jackson County Jail to meet its court-ordered cap of 190 inmates. Of those, 46 were released before their scheduled court appearances, one was granted an early release from his sentence and 39 were released for other reasons.
