The session will be from 1 to 4 p.m. Wednesday, May 11, in Room 132 of the RCC/SOU Higher Education Center, 101 S. Bartlett St. Attendees will be given a general overview and then explore training options in break-out areas. Allied Health Occupations graduates will be qualified to pass national certification exams and be competitive for living-wage employment opportunities in Southern Oregon, according to a press release. RCC offers over a dozen healthcare-related areas of study, including medical assistants, dental assistants, pharmacy technicians, medical coding specialists, sterile processing technicians, massage therapists and emergency medical technicians. Trainings range from three months to two years. Explore options by searching for "Allied Health Occupations" at www.roguecc.edu .
