Volleyball officials slate Monday night meeting A volleyball meeting for veteran and new officials will be held Monday at 7 p.m. at the South Medford High School Annex. Ashland Rowing Club sets Tuesday gathering An organizational meeting for the Ashland Rowing Club will be held Tuesday at 7 p.m. at Pioneer Hall in Ashland. The club is for men and women throughout the Rogue Valley who want to establish a rowing club for both exercise and competition. The meeting is for experienced as well as novice rowers. Men�s over-50 league to be topic of discussion The Medford Parks and Recreation Department will be holding an organizational meeting for those men over 50-years-old who are interested in forming a fall basketball league. The meeting will be at the Medford City Hall Council Chambers on Thursday at 5:30 p.m. League format, player cost and registration procedures will be discussed at the meeting. For more information, call 774-2400. Cedar Links GC to host stroke play tournament Cedar Links Golf Course will be hosting the Rogue Valley Stroke Play Championships Aug. 26-27. The 36-hole event will feature three divisions: Men (18 & up), Senior Men (55 & up) and Women (18 & over). The cost is $75 per player, and all players must have a current U.S.G.A. handicap to be eligible for net prizes. Entries can be picked up at Cedar Links or other area golf courses.
