The Challengers’ point guard poured in a career-high 30 points and the Challengers (12-5, 5-0 SCL) torched Bonanza, 78-64. Tyson Walker added four 3-pointers, "so we shot the ball well from the outside tonight," said Cascade Christian coach Brian Morse. Bonanza (9-6, 3-2 SCL) took a 16-11 lead into the second quarter, then the Challengers exploded for 31 points over the next eight minutes to take a 42-33 lead into the locker room at the half. "Mychal and Tyson combined for 21 of our 31 points in the second quarter," said Morse. "It was a pretty impressive showing. I thought Greg Williams did a good job coming off the bench for us." Williams was 5-of-5 from the field and 2-of-2 from the line for 12 points. Walker finished with 22 points. Jon Gettman came down with 12 rebounds for the Challengers and had six assists to go along with four points. Kale Lawrence led the Antlers with 21 points.
