Medford police arrested Young Wednesday on a felony charge of mail theft, two misdemeanor counts of second-degree trespassing and a misdemeanor charge of third-degree theft. He was booked in the Jackson County Jail Wednesday and released on his own recognizance. Burglary — Devin Neil Hopkins, 25, no known address. Medford police arrested Hopkins Thursday on felony charges of second-degree burglary and methamphetamine possession, and on misdemeanor charges of second-degree theft, resisting arrest and interfering with police. He was booked in the jail Thursday and released on his own recognizance. Drug Possession — Rene Joy Fenton, 36, of the 2500 block of Rogue River Highway, Gold Hill. Medford police arrested Fenton Thursday on a felony charge of methamphetamine possession and a misdemeanor charge of second-degree trespassing. She was booked in the jail Thursday and released on her own recognizance. Drug Possession — Tonya Rae Parker, 38, of the 1100 block of Seventh Avenue, Gold Hill. Jackson County sheriff's deputies arrested Parker Thursday on a felony charge of methamphetamine possession and a misdemeanor charge of second-degree theft. She was booked in the jail Thursday and released on her own recognizance. Court Appearance — Rebecca Jeanette Striplin, 49, of the 2600 block of Rogue River Highway, Gold Hill. On Thursday, Striplin made her initial court appearance on felony charge of methamphetamine possession and a misdemeanor charge of third-degree theft. She was booked in the jail Thursday and released on her own recognizance. Court Appearance — Albert Anthony Reynoso, 23, of the 1300 block of Locust Street, Medford. On Thursday, Reynoso made his initial court appearance on felony charges of first-degree theft and heroin possession, and on a misdemeanor charge of driving under the influence of intoxicants. He was booked in the jail Thursday and released on his own recognizance. Vehicle Theft — Steven Allen Martin, 27, no known address. Medford police arrested Martin Thursday on a felony charge of unauthorized use of a motor vehicle and for violating his parole on a previous second-degree burglary conviction. He was lodged in jail Thursday without bail. Money Laundering — Merton Sean Stokes, 45, of the 900 block of Dead Indian Memorial Road, Ashland. Medford police arrested Stokes Thursday on a felony warrant charging laundering a monetary instrument and on a misdemeanor warrant charging conspiracy to distribute marijuana. He was lodged in jail Thursday on $30,000 bail. Drug Distribution — Jannet Iliana Ruvalcaba-Olvera, 29, no known address. The Medford Area Drug and Gang Enforcement task force arrested Ruvalcaba-Olvera Thursday on a felony charge of distributing methamphetamine. She was lodged in jail Thursday on $500,000 bail. Burglary — Brett Devon Burns, 27, of the 300 block of Teakwood Drive, Eagle Point. Eagle Point police arrested Burns Thursday on a felony charge of second-degree burglary, and on misdemeanor charges of second-degree trespassing and second-degree theft. He was lodged in jail Thursday on $15,000 bail. Drug Possession — Zerick Kerr Brown, 30, no known address. Medford police arrested Brown Thursday on a felony charge of methamphetamine possession and for violating his parole on a 2011 marijuana possession conviction. He was lodged in jail Thursday without bail. Crime reports Theft — Medford police took a report of theft from a vehicle at 8:31 a.m. Thursday in the 1700 block of Serenity Drive. Items reported stolen included assorted DeWalt tools in a tool bag, a pair of Parasuco jeans, assorted clothing, a Lowe's gift card and a company gas card. The loss was valued at $1,635. Theft — Medford police took a report of theft at 9:48 a.m. Thursday in the 900 block of Alba Drive. Jewelry items were reported stolen including a watch, a ring and earrings. The loss was valued at $7,815.
