Friday Medford police added a charge of delivery of a controlled substance within 1,000 feet of a school to drug-related charges Coughtry was jailed on last week. He remained in the Jackson County Jail Friday night on $20,000 bail. Burglary — Tyler Jeremy Petersen, 20, of the 300 block of South Holly Street, Medford. A Jackson County sheriff’s deputy arrested Petersen late Thursday on charges of first- degree burglary, first-degree theft and unauthorized use of a vehicle. He was lodged in jail on $30,000 bail, then released Friday on his own recognizance. Assault — Kenneth Stuart McCulloh, 45, of the 200 block of Eighth Street, Ashland. Ashland police arrested McCulloh late Thursday on charges of felony fourth-degree assault, harassment, endangering another person, and interfering with a police report. He was lodged in jail on $16,000 bail, then released on his own recognizance Friday. Assault — Earl Thomas Hinchcliffe, 53, of the 1100 block of Blackwell Road, Central Point. A sheriff’s deputy arrested Hinchcliffe late Thursday on charges of felony fourth- degree assault and harassment. He was lodged in jail on $8,000 bail, then released on his own recognizance Friday. Drugs — Jennifer Ann Ponder, 28, of Medford. Medford police arrested Ponder Friday on charges of possession of amphetamines and failure to appear on a criminal mischief charge. She was lodged in jail, then released because of crowding at the jail. Assault — David Thomas Cobb, 33, of Klamath Falls. Talent police arrested Cobb Friday on charges of felony fourth-degree assault and harassment. He was lodged in jail, where he remained Friday night on $14,000 bail. Advertisement Assault — Kenneth Robert Preston, 57, of the 700 block of Indiana Street, Ashland. Ashland police arrested Preston Friday on a charge of felony fourth-degree assault. He was lodged in jail, where he remained Friday night on $5,000 bail. Drugs — Matthew Aaron Gould, 34, of the 400 block of West Clark Street, Medford. Medford police arrested Gould Friday on charges of possession of amphetamines and driving with a suspended license. He was lodged in jail, where he remained Friday night on $8,000 bail. Drugs — Andrew William Long, 24, of Medford. Medford police arrested Long Friday on a warrant charging him with delivery of an imitation controlled substance. He was lodged in jail, where he remained Friday night on $10,000 bail. Drugs — Sheila Luree Hakes, 35, of the 7800 block of Andrea Drive, White City. Hakes appeared Friday in Jackson County Circuit Court on an indictment charging her with possession of a dangerous drug and third-degree theft. She was lodged in jail on $6,000 bail, then released on her own recognizance. Crime reports Theft — 400 block of East 12th Street, Medford. Medford police took a report Thursday of a theft of a gray 1992 Ford Thunderbird. Burglary — 600 block of Crater Lake Avenue, Medford. Medford took a report Thursday of a burglary at Goldsmith’s the Complete Jewelry Service Center in which $115 worth of jewelry reportedly was taken. Theft — Antelope Road and Hale Way, White City. A Jackson County sheriff’s deputy took a report Friday of a theft of a chopsaw valued at $1,000. Theft — 1100 block of Hilton Road, Medford. Medford police took a report Friday of a theft of a generator, saw, sander and compressor. The items had an estimated value of $1,769. Theft — 2000 block of Biddle Road, Medford. Medford police took a report Friday of a theft of a 1970 Chevy pickup with Oregon license plate XYG 225. Theft — 1100 block of Siskiyou Boulevard, Medford. Medford police took a report Friday of a theft of a stereo, speakers and compact discs. The items reported stolen had a total estimated value of $790. Theft — 1600 block of North Riverside Avenue, Medford. Medford police took a report Friday of a theft of a Makiva digital camera valued at $767.
